EMILY’S ‘MARATHON IN MAY’

What an amazing finish to Emily Byrne’s 42km ‘Marathon in May’ in aid of the Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation. On Tuesday, May 26, Emily and Katie along with their parents, walked through the village of Kildavin to Spellman Park for their last kilometre and their local club mates did not let them down. The village was awash with red and black flags and cheers of support from Juvenile senior and camogie club, vintage players and all around the community and beyond.

Thank you so much to those who were in a position to come out and cheer Emily and Katie on. They will have fantastic memories for ever. We would have loved to have been able to invite everybody who supported Emily’s fundraiser to come join us this evening but it just wasn’t possible under current Covid-19 restrictions. Each and everyone who donated, shared and interacted with Emily’s fundraiser have made a real difference for amazing little children like Emily and families like ours ?
