It’s January so it’s time to think about detoxing
This is the time of year when we tend to think about detoxing, plus it’s the perfect time of year to start while we are planning our New Year resolutions. Especially resolutions associated with dietary changes. First of January was too soon, there is still too many treats left lying around, I know I could pass them on to someone else, but would that be fair?
So I will cut back on coffee, chocolate, and alcohol, and drink plenty of water. That’s my plan. I think it’s easier to cut back than cut out, maybe I’m a wimp, but I do believe in balance, so my objective is to achieve that. When I was thinking about detoxing it occurred to me that it might not be a bad idea to detox the brain too. A lot of us can have so much stuff in our brain all going on at the same time that it is a wonder that we function well at all. So I thought to myself that I will apply something that I learned on a business course recently, it’s easy really: do the job now, postpone it, delegate it, or if need be just bin the idea. This is actually a great tip, it works for me. You should try this it’s very helpful.
You can even take detoxing further if you think about your skin.
For example you can drink plenty of water and do skin brushing to help the skin detoxify.
A great way to start the year would be to go through all your bodycare products and replace them over time with ones that contain only natural ingredients.
Another thing to think about is what you breathe in; toxins from airborne products can build up in the cells too. For example candles, deodorants, bodycare products, air fresheners.
As well as cutting back I’ll be taking Flor Essence 10 Day Detox. This is a detoxing tea that cleanses, detoxes, and supports the liver, colon, and skin. It supports the lymphatic system which enables it to function more effectively so that the body can deal with the toxic overload. It’s a fantastic remedy. I simply take 50ml in hot water every night before bed for ten nights, I always feel great after taking Flor Essence.
