Brú na Bóinne Interpretive Centres
Co. Meath
UNESCO World Heritage Site Brú na Bóinne is famed for the Newgrange, Knowth and Dowth passage tombs.
Now, after an extensive upgrade to the visitor centre, a new immersive experience will showcase the area’s archaeological and historical heritage.
It includes a full-scale replica of the chamber at Newgrange, which is famous for its illumination when the sun rises on the winter solstice, and a full model of one of the smaller tombs at Knowth.
