Our AGM was held during the week, the committee remains the same and lots of topics and jobs for the coming year were discussed. Looking forward to working on making our community look as beautiful as always. If anyone has ideas they’d like to share or if you would like to help out it would be greatly appreciated.

SLEEP OUT FOR HOMELESS

Join Focus Ireland’s first ‘Big Gorey Sleep Out’ on Friday, March 23, in the Methodist Church car park Gorey and raise funds to help support over 3000 children who will be homeless this Easter.

Focus Ireland is calling on the people of Wexford to take part in the Big Gorey Sleep out and sleep outside for one night to help change a life and to highlight the issue of homelessness and raise vital funds.

Focus Ireland has been providing homeless services in the South East for 17 years. In 2017 Focus Ireland assisted 33 Wexford families including almost 60 children who were homeless or at risk of homelessness. Funds raised will help provide essential supplies and support to those that need them and help us prevent homelessness. More than ever we need support from the local community and businesses to help us prevent homelessness and make a real and lasting difference to those currently living in emergency accommodation.
