SCHOOL 50TH ANNIVERSARY

MONAMOLIN PARISH DRAW

For weeks now the Parish Committee have been planning for this fundraiser, Money was needed for the up-grading of our graveyard as well as other parish expenses. A Parish Draw was decided on and immediately work began. Tickets were printed prizes were organised and the selling got under way. The Culmination of all this took place on Saturday last at coffee evening in the Commumity Centre.

The winners were announced as follows: Gary O’Leary, Oulart. Doireann Fox, Monamolin. Edel Doran, Garrydaniel. John Buttle, Ballinahown. Margaret Lacy, Oulart. Karen Doran, Monagrena. Sinéad Bates, Killag. Colette Walsh, Court. M Tyrrell, Monamolin and Daire Prendergast, Ballyshane.

None of this would have been possible without the co-operation of all the parish. The committee wishes to thank everybody who helped in any way in the success of this venture – those who sold or bought tickets gave sponsorship, donated prizes. It was a huge success.
