School focus on dyslexia

GOREY Community School is running a course this week to support parents with students who have dyslexia, along with a session for students.

The courses, titled ‘Dyslexia at Second Level: How parents can support the student’, is presented by Wyn McCormack, who is a former guidance counsellor and special education teacher with a wealth of knowledge on the topic.

The course will take place on Thursday, November 17, at 7 p.m., in room 806, for €10. There will also be a student session at 3.30 p.m., in room 806, for €5.
