Leinster silverware on show at Bank of Ireland breakfast

BANK OF Ireland in Wexford hosted a jam-packed Agri Breakfast at its new Community Hub in the Wexford town branch recently.

While the discussion mainly revolved around farming and finance, there was a sporting side to the day as well as the European and Pro 14 Rugby cups were in the building as well. The bank sponsors Leinster Rugby who enjoyed a very successful season last year.

Guest speakers on the day included Dr. Siobhan Kavanagh, Area Manager for Teagasc, and Sean Farrell, Head of Agri with Bank of Ireland.

The attendees on the day included a cross section of those involved in the sector from Wexford Agri Business and farming communitie­s. Topics discussed ranged from succession planning to the challenges faced by the farming community in relation to staffing and Brexit.

A spokespers­on for Bank of Ireland said the event highlighte­d their commitment to the Agri sector, saying that listening to those in attendance helped them to tailor their business in supporting the specific needs of the agri community.
