Festive season in full swing

THE lead up to Christmas in Bunclody starts on Friday 7th with the Saturday Market pre-Christmas evening, starting at 7.00 p.m. with yummy treats, mulled wine, music and entertainm­ent. Come along and join in the fun whilst shopping at the amazing range of stalls.

The action moves to up the town with a Craft Fair in Glanbia’s Garden Centre on 8th and 9th December from 1.00 to 5.00pm, as part of a seasonal promotion for the Carrigduff Retailers,

The recently upgraded Christmas lights will be turned on at 5.30pm in The Market Square with music and a visit from Santa.

ArtBank is displaying two exhibition­s leading up to Christmas. The first is Portrait of Bunclody, paintings by artists who were in Bunclody for the Plein Air Festival in the Summer. The second exhibition is by artists who attend ‘The Tuesday Workshop’ all of whom are local.

ArtBank will be hosting its increasing­ly popular Open Mic night on Friday, 21st December from 7.30pm.

So come along, bring a bottle and your voice and join in.

So there is no excuse for not stopping in Bunclody with a varied arrangemen­t of shopping from Food to Fashion and Wine to a warm welcome from the town’s retailers.
