Davy ‘wheel-y pleased’ with Skoda

-

AS Wexford get their Allianz Hurling League campaign under way, manager Davy Fitzgerald made sure he was set for the long journeys between his native Clare and the model county as he picked up his brand new Skoda Kodiaq from Donohoe’s Skoda in Enniscorthy.

A strong supporter of Wexford GAA, Donohoe Skoda was delighted to come on board for the third year in a row providing a car for the busy Wexford manager. Davy was over the moon as he took possession of his 191 Skoda Kodiaq Ambition and his particular model is the 7 seater 2.0TDi Automatic in Candy White.

New General Manager at the Enniscorthy dealership, Cathal Murphy, was delighted to show Davy around his new car, which has plenty of room for lugging lads to and from training, with quite a bit of room in the boot to spare for the Liam McCarthy come the end of the summer, fingers crossed!

With Davy clocking up huge mileage travelling back and forwards between his native Sixmilebridge and the centre of excellence in Ferns for training, comfort was essential and he seemed delighted with the new wheels.

Last year, the Clare man was given a state of the art Skoda Octavia and astonishingly he managed to clock up over 60,000km in the space of just six months!

Once again, Davy was keen to thank all of the team at Donohoe Skoda for their ongoing support and they all have their fingers crossed that when he returns to the Enniscorthy dealership, his stunning Kodiaq will be carrying some hard-won silverware on board for the Yellowbellies!
