Founder Friday success in Gorey

-

A free networking event at the Hatch Lab in Gorey was a great success last Friday.

Founder Friday, an initiative started up in the Hatch Lab, returned last week with Damian Donlon of Dulann who gave an insightful and informative talk on setting up a business.

Local singer, Aideen Ní Riada, interviewed Damian on the night, asking questions about the stages of his business development.

Damian offered great advice for companies at all stages of development, speaking to a packed house at the Hatch Lab.

Founder Friday is a free meet up for start-ups, founders and entrepreneurs. It is a chance for businesses to finish the week with a few drinks, network with like-minded people and also hear an inspiring chat from an entrepreneur in the Leinster community.

The event is run by the Bank of Ireland in partnership with Wexford County Council. It is hosted by Emer Cooney, Community Enterprise Manager from Bank of Ireland as well as John O’Connor, Hatch Lab manager.

Emer thanked Damian and his team from Wexford’s e-learning company Dulann for joining them on Founder Friday. She added that Damian has bootstrapped his way to success with Dulann, which is now one of Ireland’s fastest growing tech companies.

‘It was a great evening,’ said Emer. ‘Thanks also to Bank of Ireland and Wexford County Council for supporting this great event.’

The next date will be announced soon.
