Hard luck to Tomás Murphy, Feidhlim Roche, Jake Nobbs and Pad O’Connor, who were with the St Peter’s College team who lost out to Kilkenny CBS in the Leinster Quarter Final.

Hurling365 will be starting shortly and the club is looking for members to help out. Please contact Joe Cullen if you wish to coach.

Hard luck to Darren Byrne, who was part of the Wexford hurling panel which lost to Limerick in the first round of the national league.

Club membership is due. Player €150, player and partner €160, student €70, non-player €60 and non-player and partner €70.

We are still on the lookout for any old memorabilia in the parish? We would love to photograph any old medal especially one of the 1899 or 1901 Leinster or all-Ireland final medals, there must be one floating around the parish? Even any old jerseys.

Last week’s question: Name the four players from Blackwater on the Wexford junior hurling team that lost to Cork in a all-Ireland semi-final In 1940? Thomas Corrigan, James Roche, Thomas Furlong and William Kenny. This week’s question: Who did Blackwater junior hurlers play in the 2001 Leinster championship first round?
