Jango coffee morning raises €555

-

A COFFEE morning held in AIB Bank Gorey raised €555 for Colin ‘Jango’ Fleming from Coolgreany.

Hosted by AIB Gorey, the staff baked goods for the coffee morning at their premises on the Main Street.

Josephine Casey, who gave a helping hand at the coffee morning, thanked all who donated towards the funds for Colin.

‘It was nice morning and people were very generous,’ she added.

Colin, who was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia last April, is recovering from a bone marrow transplant. In August he didn’t think a transplant would ever be possible after being told my doctors that he only had a few weeks to live.

He is currently living near St James Hospital and will hopefully return home in March. The money will go towards his recovery process.
