Four-month-old in booster seat

LUKE CONNORS (22), Big Tree, Coolbawn, Ferns, was fined €250 for not having his young child safely secured as he drove through Clogh on April 25 last.

The four-month-old baby was strapped into a booster seat on the date in question.

But Garda Maurice McGrath noted that the seat was not securely buckled into place.

The defendant told the District Court he was coming home from Caredoc at the time.
