Staff pool resources for St Patrick’s

-

THE staff in Irish Country Meats in Camolin showcased their caring nature by donating money to St Patrick’s Special School in Enniscorthy for its therapeutic pool.

The fundraiser was organised by John Hudson who is over the canteen in the Camolin based company.

Speaking to this newspaper he expressed delight at the success of the event and thanked the staff who got fully behind it.

‘We had a Christmas charity lunch and the staff donated towards it,’ said Mr Hudson.

‘We managed to raise €1,400 which was great,’ he added.

The money was handed over the school on Friday.

Mr Hudson pointed out that all of the staff were fully supportive of the initiative and that they all gave donations towards it.

Work is ongoing on a new state-of-the-art St Patrick’s special school building and Mr Hudson said the staff in Irish County Meats were delighted to be able to get behind the new school through the fundraiser.
