What Hospice Homecare meant to us

-

Leo and myself have taken part in Hope and Dream every year since it began. We really enjoyed it, there was always a fantastic atmosphere.

But sadly my husband Leo passed away a little over a year and a half ago. He was under the amazing care of the Hospice Homecare.

When Leo and myself decided we wanted to spend the last of the remaining time we had left together at home in our own house with our children and family, the Wexford Hospice Homecare was there to make that possible.

When the Wexford Hospice Homecare were were contacted from St Vincent’s Hospital Dublin on a Monday morning everything was put into place by Tuesday lunchtime. Everything needed for Leo’s care and needs was arranged and we were able to come home and for that we will be forever grateful.

The kindness, sensitivity and reassurance shown to us and Leo at all times during Leo’s care was phenomenal.

To continue to help patients and families at difficult times like this, the Hospice Homecare need all the support they can get. Please support the Hope and Dream this year. I know I will.
