MASS OF ANOINTING AND HEALING

The annual Mass of anointing and healing will be held in Kiltealy Community Hall tomorrow, Wednesday, February 13, at 2 p.m. Refreshmen­ts will be served afterwards. Our Lady of Lourdes pray for us.

BALLINDAGG­IN STORY HOUSE

Ballindagg­in Story House will be held on this Thursday, February 14, at 8 p.m. Great music, song and story. Admision free. refreshmen­ts served. Come along and enjoy.

KILTEALY ICA

Kiltealy ICA guild held their first meeting of 2019 on February 6 in Kiltealy Hall. President Eileen Brennan chaired the meeting and welcomed 14 members. Apologies from Deirdre McCarthy and Kathleen O’Leary, who were unable to attend. Elizabeth Armstrong dealt with correspond­ence. The next Federation meeting will be held in the Riverbank Hotel on February 25 at 8 p.m. and competitio­n for that is the nicest half dozen chocolate chip cookies. There will be a craft day in Coláiste Bride on April 13 with lots of interestin­g craft projects.

The competitio­n on the night was for the nicest candle holder which was won by Jane Buckley. Raffle winner was Veronica Byrne. A lovely tea was served by Patricia Coughlan and Helen Rowe.

The March meeting will be on Wednesday, March 6, at 8 p.m. and competitio­n on the night will be for the nicest jewellery box, the hostesses for March will be Nora O’Donovan and Marie Coleman.

SYMPATHY

Deepest sympathy is extended to members of the Dreelan family Monart on the passing of Margaret (Mag) Dreelan (née O’Toole) which occurred on Sunday, January 27, Interment took place in Caim Cemetery. May she rest in peace.
