Number of people are treated in hospital following two-car crash

A NUMBER of people have been taken to Wexford General Hospital following a two vehicle collision near Ballycanew on Sunday afternoon.

A spokespers­on from Gorey Garda Station said they are being treated for ‘minor injuries’ after the vehicles collided head on at 3.05 p.m. when travelling around a sweeping bend in the townsland of Ballinclar­e.

Emergency services attended the scene and two ambulances arrived to take the injured parties to hospital.
