Ferns Bowling held their AGM recently. Officers elected were Pat Nolan, chairman, Ray Flick, secretary, John Francis, treasurer, Mary Anne Sunderland, PRO, committee, Nancy Hanlon, Jean Spellar, Fred Warren, Charlie Christopher, Joe Ronan, Joe Murphy, Johnny McClean and Nicholas Ronan.
ACTIVE RETIREMENT
Our annual summer break has been arranged from April 29 to May 3. This year we look forward to travelling to Sligo and staying at the Clayton Hotel. From there we can enjoy the surrounding areas of interest and also the numerous facilities the hotel offers. Non-members are very welcome to join the group. Queries to Colm at 086 3866582.

COMMUNITY CONSULTATION MEETING
This will take place on Wednesday, February 20, at 7.30 p.m. in Seán Óg’s. This is your opportunity to voice your opinion, share suggestions and ideas on how you see the future development of our village. Please come along and ensure an all-inclusive consultation on all aspects of Village Renewal are heard.
A Community Development Association or village team needs to be set up to lead all future development around, social, economic, recreational, tourism and that all identified needs are met. WALKING/RUNNING GROUP
An open social walking/running group has commenced in Kilmuckridge. Meets will take place at new time of 8 p.m. each Monday to Friday evening starting at St Joseph’s NS for anyone who wishes to take part.
SQUASH CLUB
