Ferns Bowling held their AGM recently. Officers elected were Pat Nolan, chairman, Ray Flick, secretary, John Francis, treasurer, Mary Anne Sunderland, PRO, committee, Nancy Hanlon, Jean Spellar, Fred Warren, Charlie Christophe­r, Joe Ronan, Joe Murphy, Johnny McClean and Nicholas Ronan.

ACTIVE RETIREMENT

Our annual summer break has been arranged from April 29 to May 3. This year we look forward to travelling to Sligo and staying at the Clayton Hotel. WALKING/RUNNING GROUP

An open social walking/running group has commenced in Kilmuckrid­ge. Meets will take place at new time of 8 p.m. each Monday to Friday evening starting at St Joseph’s NS for anyone who wishes to take part.

SQUASH CLUB
