The community would like to express their deepest sympathy to Bridget Baker on the recent passing of her sister Rita Murphy, Hacketstown, Co, Carlow and to the family and relatives of Julie Hanrahan, Ballinglen, Tarahill, who recently passed away. May God give their families, friends and relatives comfort at this difficult time. May they all rest in peace.

40TH ANNIVERSARY

Congratulations to Jimmy and Mary Gregan, Hill Lane, Tara Hill, on recently celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary. Wishing them both many more happy and healthy years together.

GAA CLUB NEWS

Club membership is now due for the coming year, all money must be paid by March 31.

Club Fundraiser: A Sponsored 120km cycle tour of wexford will take place on Saturday, May 11. This will be the club fundraiser for 2019. More information is available from the club, or at wexfordcycle.com.

SCHOOL NEWS

This week is midterm break week, school reopens on Monday, February 25, at 9 a.m.

Confirmation – A Commitment Service for students and parents who will make their confirmation this year, will take place in St Kevin’s Church on Wednesday next, February 20, at 7 p.m.

Do This in Memory Meeting – Parents of children who are making their First Holy Communion, the’ Do this in Memory’ Meeting will be held in the school on Tuesday, February 19, at 7 p.m.
