THE Amber Springs Hotel in Gorey was named in the top 10 Irish hotels in the Irish Independent Reader Travel Awards.

The hotel was voted Ireland’s most family friendly hotel, it also received the Best Family Hotel in Ireland in 2018.

Eibhear Coyle, general manager, said this is an incredible achievement for the hotel as they have worked really hard as a team to make their visitors and guests central to everything they do, following their ‘dedicated to happiness, dedicated to you’ motto.

‘We were very fortunate in 2018, it was a record breaking year at the Amber Springs Hotel with over 90,000 guests staying with us, not to mention our guests who visited us for our restaurants and bars, Cocoon spa, leisure centre and pool and our train experience. That’s phenomenal for us, for local businesses and for our economy.’

This year is already shaping up to be great for the Amber Springs. In the first two months of the year they have already looked after over 10,000 guests and are preparing for another brilliant year.

‘This award is the cherry on top and what a win to start the year,’ added Mr Coyle.

The four star hotel located within minutes from Gorey town and only an hour from Dublin is the ideal and popular destination hotel and resort.

The hotel offers numerous activities for children, including mini-golf, a playground and go-karting.

There is also an indoor Play Zone and 80 seater cinema. The Club Amber Leisure centre has a swimming pool with an attached pool for children too.
