At the request of Leinster Cricket Union, Gorey Cricket Club is compiling a recorded history of the game that was so dominant in the North Wexford area, with teams from Camolin, Ballyhast, Wells and Ardamine to name but a few.

Scorebooks, pictures or any memorabili­a would be most welcome and any material received will be documented and returned.

Guests from all around the country, along with local supporters and volunteers of Cycle Against Suicide, will be attending.

Following from the memories of the 2016 Orange Tie Ball, another memorable night is guaranteed.

November 12 sees the Musical ‘42nd Street’ streamed from London’s West End live to Gorey Movies, cost is €15.

Book in for events on Fridays at the Loch Garman Arms.

Non-members are very welcome to check out activities by dropping into the Loch Garman Arms.

There is some activity on most days of the week.

A new season has started so why not try out some of the weekly events on offer or even start a new one. Members of the committee will help. Bowls on Monday, Darts and Go for life on Tuesday, Walk on Wednesday, Art on Thursday, Irish Class on Friday. All payment and inquiries should be made on Fridays in the Loch Garman Arms between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Following a successful cruise this year the committee are considerin­g organising another cruise in 2020.

They would like to assess the interest members would have in going on a cruise and are asking interested members to contact any member to express their interest so that they can decide if it is feasible.

An early response will be appreciate­d as it is essential to book a cruise early. skills, please drop in to our next session in Gorey Library.
