THRESHING

Come along to a fun day in Tuttys Ballyfad on Sunday, October 20, at 2 p.m. for a Threshing and Vintage Display in aid of Ballyfad NS and Inch Parish Church. There will be plant and cake sale, bric-à-brac, live dancing with Declan, refreshmen­ts served and a raffle on the day so all support greatly appreciate­d.

GAA CLUB NOTES

Team of the week goes, again, to the under-14 girls. This time it is for beating Oylegate in the camogie final replay. A great year all round. Well done too to the under-15 f/b boys who beat Gorey in their quarter final. Their semi-final v Shels is on Thursday the 24th in Patrick’s Park at 7.45 p.m. That follows the under-15 Hurling semi-final v Ballyhogue in Patrick’s Park on Saturday the 19th at 12.30 p.m. The under-13 hurling final v Buffers May have been changed from 13th. That leaves the under-18 camogie semi-final on Sunday the 20th and the under-16 camogie final on Monday the 28th.

There was no jackpot winner in the club lotto. There were six match-three winners. The numbers were 1, 3, 7 and 20. The next draw for €2,700 takes place in Noel’s on Monday the 21st.

KILANERIN ICA

Kilanerin ICA are holding a Beewax event on Thursday, October 24, at 7.30 p.m. in the Shamrock Hall. Learn how to make your own Beewax wrap at home.

Pilates is back after the school break it will continue on Tuesday night from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. €6 per class.
