Comedy Club quiz

Gorey Comedy Club has teamed up with the Ashdown Park Hotel to host an online quiz using Zoom and Facebook Live.

The first one is due to start this Thursday, May 28, and will be hosted by comedians Karl Spain and Barry Murphy and can be viewed via Facebook Live.

Organisers warn that it will not be your average quiz, with a lot of knowledge being tested being more so street than academic.

The entry fee to take part in the quiz is just €3.50 and donations will be made to local charities on your behalf.

Prizes for the winners include an overnight stay at the Ashdown Park Hotel when restrictions are lifted, and other prizes include take-away food and restaurant vouchers.

It looks set to be lots of fun, and should be taking place once a fortnight. More information can be found by searching ‘Gorey Comedy Club’ online.
