GAA CLUB NOTES
CLUB DRAW – The club monthly draw was held last Thursday night with Tom Lawless overseeing proceedings at his shop in Monamolin assisted by Leonard Lacey and John Farrell (Co-Ordinators). The following were the lucky winners: €400: Cillian and Caoimhe Doran, Monagrena. €100: Tom Walsh, Ballindaggin. €50: Anthony O’Connor, Ballymacsimon; Richard Johnston, Ballinastraw and Páraic Roche, Ballyrea. Congratulations to all.
Participants in the draw may pay the monthly €10 payment to their regular promoter, on our online club.
Force App or sort it out when we are back to a little more normality. There is an opportunity for people to join up for the remaining six months of the year. Your ongoing support in so many different ways during this pandemic is much appreciated.
THOUSANDAIRE – The latest revised date for our Thousandaire is November 14 in the Upton Court Hotel. The club is currently promoting their exhibitors and advertisers on social media.
WALKING TRACK – Like all other clubs, Buffers Alley is waiting on the green light from Croke Park in conjunction with the Health Authorities as to when the club can re-open the walking track around their pitches in Monamolin. This would be a welcome boost to the local community where they could exercise in a safe environment.
