KILNENOR HISTORICAL SOCIETY

The AGM of the Kilnenor Historical Society will take place in the May Byrne House on Tuesday 23rd April at 8.30pm. New members are always welcome.

Congratula­tions to Charley Rose Kelly who celebrated her 7th birthday last Monday; also birthday greetings to Cillian Andrew Condren, Monaglough who celebrated his 14th birthday last Monday; birthday wishes also to Thomas Walker, Croghan View who celebrated his 10th birthday last Tuesday; best wishes also to Rosie McGuire, Knockgrean­y who celebrates her 10th birthday on Wednesday 10th April; also birthday wishes to Garry Kennedy, Main St who will celebrate his 10th birthday next Saturday.

The local community extend their deepest sympathy to the O’Toole family, Glenogue on the sad passing of a wife and mother Stephanie, whose funeral took place recently.

HANDBALL

A 6 week programme has commenced, giving mums and friends the chance to play in a fun, non-competitiv­e environmen­t. No experience or equipment required. Every Wednesday until end of April, 8pm to 9pm. Get fit and have some fun. Everyone welcome.
