DRAMA IN BREE

Wexford Drama Group will present their All Ireland qualified entry play ‘How I learned to Drive’ in Bree Hall on Sunday next 21st April at 7.30pm. Tickets are €12. Over 16s only.

COMMUNITY GAMES QUIZ CHAMPIONS

Congratula­tions to Liam Leacy, Patrick Fay, Roisin Hensman and Matthew Murphy with Emma Stafford and Lucas Devereux as subs, on winning the Co Community Games Quiz Final. Other locals taking part were Roisin and Lilly Fay.

The winning team will take part in the National Finals in May. Best of luck to all those taking part in the swimming this Sunday morning in Enniscorth­y Waterfront.

BREE UTD BINGO

Bree Utd hosts bingo every Sunday evening at 6pm in Hammel’s of Bree. Come along and join in the fun. Loads of chances to win. Bree Utd split the pot envelopes are in Centra in Bree and Hammel’s of Bree. Draws takes place every second Monday. Thank you to all who support the club.

BABY & TODDLER GROUP

Bree Baby and Toddler Group meet each Tuesday 10.30am12noon in Bree Community Centre. Open to parents, grandparen­ts, childminde­rs, babies , toddlers and wobblers. COMMUNITY GAMES SWIMMING

The Swimming Co Final took place on Sunday last in Enniscorth­y Pool. Well done to all who took part. Results were as follows.

Noah Cosgrave 1st and Edmund Crean 2nd nn U10 Freestyle. Mary Kate Kirwan 1st and Devin Kelly 3rd in U10 Backstroke, Ruby Bayley 1st in U12 Backstroke, Lucy Deacon 1st,Nia Farrell 2nd and Conor Kelly 2nd in the U12 Breaststro­ke, Emily Ryan 2nd and Eoin Browne 2nd in U14 Freestyle, Katie Ryan 2nd in U14 Backstroke, Alex Farrell 2nd in U14 Breaststro­ke and Roise Fraser 1st in U14 Butterfly and Luke Ryan 1st in U16 Breaststro­ke. U13 Swim Squad (4x25 freestyle)

Gold medal winners were Ruby, Lucy, Nia and Abri Kelly with Poppy Dan as sub. Shea Fraser, Meave Cahill and Niamh Whelan also took part.

Swimming Manager is Eimear Ryan. Noah, Mary Kate, Ruby, Lucy, Roise and Luke, as well as the U13 Squad, will represent Co Wexford in the National Final in Kilkenny in June. Best of luck to all those taking part in the Co Gymnastics Final on Sunday next.

BREE HALL LIBRARY

Bree Hall Swap Library was completely replenishe­d last week with new books. The hall is open from 8.30am to 4pm most days. All are welcome.
