If you are a straight dude who occasionally experiences same-sex attractions or interactions, you’re not alone. Ritch C. Savin-Williams, a professor of developmental psychology at Cornell University outlines this sexual identity in his book, Mostly Straight: Sexual

Fluidity Among Men. According to his research, there are plenty of men who are not 100 percent straight, but don’t consider themselves gay or bi either. A poll conducted by the US government between 2011 and 2013 found that 6 percent of men between 18 and 24 years old consider themselves “mostly straight.” Savin-Williams argues that millennials are more open-minded about sexuality and gender than older folks. He believes that young men are more likely to embrace the “mostly straight” label, because they “are secure in their heterosexuality yet remain aware of their potential to experience far more.”
