Women are told we have all kinds of sexual delights ahead of us as we age — menopause, vaginal dryness and changing body image. But apparently it is not all bad news. A new study of women aged

45 to 60 found that many aspects of sex improve with age. These include increased self-knowledge and self-confidence, and better communication skills in the bedroom. The study also found that ageing prompted women to try new behaviours to adapt to the challenges of ageing to ensure that their sex lives were satisfying.
