Blacks Irish Gin 42%

-

Farm Lane, Kinsale, Co. Cork blacksbrewery.com

The Wild Atlantic Way is well-known as being one of Ireland’s most scenic routes. On the edge of Co. Cork, Kinsale marks the beginning, or the end, of this journey. It is here that Maud and Sam Black have chosen to distill their own unique gin.

Small batch, distilled locally, and inspired by the wild Atlantic coast, Black’s is a modern Irish gin, with a unique fusion of citrus and spice, and a wild Atlantic botanical twist. Featuring fresh cut citrus peels, hand cracked juniper berries and vapour-infused Irish heather flowers picked locally on the Wild Atlantic Way, this concoction is clean and crisp, yet complex and delicately balanced.

Blacks Gin features 13 carefully selected botanicals. It’s a big, bold, flavoursome gin that combines the best Juniper berries, Coriander seeds, Licorice, Orris Root and Angelica root, all of which give it a distinct earthy body. Savour this one for evening drinks this Christmas, and serve with three parts tonic and a wedge of pink grapefruit to garnish.
