Aer Lingus has added to its list of North American destinations with the summer of 2019 seeing the introduction of direct flights from Dublin to Minneapolis St Paul and Montreal, which is one of Hot Travel’s favourite places to watch ice hockey (come on you Canadiens!) and munch poutine, the waistline-threatening French Fries, cheese curd and brown gravy combo that’s traditionally consumed after a tankerload of Le Cheval Blanc beer.

Getting from Dublin-Lisbon will hopefully become even cheaper next April with TAP’s double-daily service to and from the Portuguese capital providing Ryanair and Aer Lingus with some stiff competition.
