The launch of Holly’s White vegan menu at The Garden Room in The Merrion Hotel
Foodies, journalists and friends of The Merrion gathered in the five-star hotel’s beautiful Garden Room for a decadent lunch to celebrate the arrival of a new vegan menu specially designed by Vegan-ish author Holly White and The Merrion’s executive chef Ed Cooney. Guests were welcomed with champagne before sitting down to a three-course lunch of courgetti with roasted tomatoes, pine nuts and black olives; Shepardless Pie; and a salted caramel tart. Not only was it delicious, but all agreed it was wonderful to see a five-star with such an expansive vegan offering.
