CAREER SUPPORT This starts before you arrive on campus, where our dedicated MBA careers manager will give you access to online CV technology (and an online career development module for international students) to ensure you “hit the ground running”. During your MBA, you’ll be invited to participate in a range of careers seminars, workshops, panel and recruitment events as part of our MBA Career Development Programme, which runs throughout the year. You’ll also get access to a range of online resources, including a mentoring platform where you can seek advice from experts in other countries on specific industries and roles and geographies, as well as unlimited one-to-one career coaching. As an MBA alumnus, you can continue to access support from the Careers Service at any time, and we regularly meet our alumni to advise them on negotiating job offers and changes in roles and career direction. WHAT GRADUATES SAY Our graduates say the MBA is one of the best and most challenging things they’ve ever done. They also typically ref lect on the strong friendships they’ve made. Once they graduate, they become part of our wide MBA alumni network, and many graduates regularly stay in touch and return to Smurfit to share their knowledge and experience with current students, whether as part of an industry career panel or at an MBA networking event or one of our MBA Experience Days, where we invite people to sample a taste of what the MBA is all about.
