THE FIVE-STAR TREATMENT
The Dylan Hotel unveils its new look with an exclusive soirée
After more than a decade hosting stylish visitors, happy occasions and VIP gatherings, Dublin’s Dylan Hotel was due some love in return. And so it was given a fresh redesign by Gráinne Weber of Gráinne Weber Architects, with a new restaurant, bar, terrace, and private residents’ cocktail room. To celebrate, the hotel threw an exclusive party, with guests including model Amber Le Bon and designer Helen Steele treated to cocktails and a taste of the new menu. All were wowed by the spanking new interior, featuring bespoke furniture by John Lee and The Veneerist, Ciaran McGill; lighting by Max Ingrand and Shady and the Lamp; walnut and burr elm panelling; and a walnut-fronted bar and portrait by Cian McLoughlin, both in the Dylan Bar. The new restaurant, The Eddison, with its two terraces and moss installation, designed by Bronagh Harte of Ginkgo Flowers, is sure to see a full booking list of diners looking to sample the new offering, while the beautiful and intimate new cocktail bar, The Ruby Room, will certainly see happy guests sharing toasts and tipples for years to come.
