The Chinnery Gin Chinese New Year cocktail evening at The Big Romance

Chinnery Gin hosted a special cocktail evening in Dublin’s The Big Romance to celebrate Chinese New Year. Guests were treated to a Chinnery Gin tasting with distiller David Havelin, as well as two delicious cocktails created for the occasion, including one infused with their special variety of Oolong tea sourced from the markets of Canton, China. Chinnery Dublin Dry Gin is inspired by the Old China Trade and the travels of Georgian-era artist George Chinnery, who started his portrait-painting career in Dublin, before leaving and eventually settling in Canton, so the brand’s first Chinese New Year on sale offered the perfect opportunity to showcase their product and toast a successful start.
