Every year, 14,000 tons of suncare end up in coral reefs, thanks to chemical filters found in suncare called oxybenzone and octinoxate. Caudalie’s new range of suncare, above, is ocean-safe and comes in recyclable packaging, while the folks at Avène are working with a programme to revive and restore coral reefs. Their latest range reduces the impact of sunscreen on the marine environment.
