THE SOPHISTICA­TED ONE Gérard Bertrand Côtes de Roses Rosé, Languedoc, France €18.95

An elegant new rosé from top Languedoc winemaker, Gérard Bertrand. Celebratin­g the Mediterran­ean lifestyle, this crisp rosé is as delicious as the bottle is elegant: floral and inviting with aromas of summer fruits, cassis and redcurrant on the fresh, clean palate. The finish is dry and crisp.

THE STYLISH ONE

Pasqua 11 Minutes Rosé, Veneto, Italy €18.95

The name of the wine refers to the brief 11 minute grape skin contact during the winemaking that gives the wine its distinctiv­e pale salmon pink colour. The fresh strawberry, raspberry and grapefruit flavours on the palate are balanced by the refreshing acidity and long crisp finish.

THE CLASSY ONE Château Riotor Rosé, Provence, France €18.95

From the Provence region of southern France. This wine has fantastic fruit definition – crunchy raspberry and ripe cherry fruits. The complex and alluring palate is dry, with a long finish and good refreshing acidity. This is one of the finest quality rosé wines of the world crafted by top Châteauneu­f-duPape producer, Mont Redon.

THE SPIRITED ONE Rós Rosé, Navarra, Spain €16.95

This delicious little rosé is produced by O’Briens Wine Director, Lynne Coyle Master of Wine with Bodega Tandem in the northern Spanish wine region of Navarra. Crisp and elegant with an aromatic bouquet, it boasts plenty of ripe red fruits on the palate.

This is a delicious essential new recruit to your summer sipping list.

THE ELEGANT ONE Petit Bourgeois Pinot Noire Rosé, Loire, France €15.95

We only get a small allocation of this elegant Pinot Noir Rosé every year and it sells out quick. Produced by the ‘King of Sancerre’, Henri Bourgeois, this wine comes from his Pinot Noir vineyards. It has wonderful dry, mouthwater­ing red-berried fruit and fresh acidity. The finish is long and generous with a ripe strawberry and light floral character.

THE FASHIONABL­E ONE L’Ostal Rosé, Languedoc, France €15.45

This is a modern style of rosé from the fabulous LynchBages owned estate. This wine is fresh, dry and crisp. Aromatic and refreshing, packed with the flavours of southern France: strawberry-scented, crunchy red fruits, rose petals and subtle Mediterran­ean herbs.
