Stauntons on the Green celebrates its
new look with a special garden party
Situated on the edge of Dublin’s St Stephen’s Green, Stauntons on the Green is a 63-bedroom hotel created from a row of Georgian townhouses, and to celebrate a two-year refurbishment, the team opened its freshly painted front door for a special garden party where guests were treated to music by the Rhythm Masters, a performance by the Glass Mask Theatre and Rex Ryan, prosecco, coctails, canapés, cupcakes and hand-rolled ice cream in the hotel’s tranquil rear garden, which has been lovingly re-landscaped. Stauntons on the Green owner Richard Driehaus welcomed visitors who were given a sneak peek at the newly renovated rooms, including the gardenlevel lodgings with their own sun-trap terraces.
