An Evening with Kim Gordon at IMMA

To celebrate the opening of Kim Gordon’s solo exhibition at the Irish Museum of Modern Art, IMMA held a special evening with the multi-disciplinary artist and co-founder of band Sonic Youth in the museum’s beautiful Courtyard, with live performances by Body/Head, an experimental electric guitar duo composed of Kim Gordon and Bill Nace; poet Elaine Kahn; and guitarist Heather Leigh. Guests enjoyed O’Hara’s Irish Craft Beers and delicious food by Grálinn throughout the evening. The exhibition, entitled She bites her tender mind, features a series of Gordon’s new works, including recent and previously unseen paintings, drawings, and ceramic sculptures, alongside a glitter installation andan immersive video projection.

The exhibition runs until November 10.
