This may be last of the summer wine, and it comes from the warmer O’Rosal sub-zone
of Spain’s north western Rías Baixas region. The warmer conditions produce
riper Albariño grapes with tropical fruit flavours to accompany the typical greengage and citrus notes. Some lees-ageing gives extra body and texture to the wine before a refreshingly
crisp finish.
