The launch of Susan Jane White’s third cookbook, Clever Batch, at The Little Museum of Dublin

Friends and fans of cookery writer Susan Jane White gathered in The Little Museum of Dublin for the launch of her third cookbook,

Clever Batch. Comedian Abie Philbin Bowman launched the book amongst a roomful of foodies, including chef and restaurate­ur Domini Kemp, actress Cha Cha Seigne, designer Helen James, rugby legend Gordon D’Arcy and, of course, White’s husband of eight years and founder of the museum, Trevor White, and their two boys, Benjamin and Marty. Susan Jane was celebratin­g not just the book’s release, but her fortieth birthday. Guests were treated to a variety of tasty treats from the book, including Salted Almond Butter Brownies, Miso and Medjool Swiss Rolls, and Salted Coffee Caramels. Published by Gill Books, Clever Batch, €24.99, is a blueprint for cutting your cooking time in half, with a host of batch cooking recipes promising to save home cooks time, money and patience.
