Your festive calendar is calling
We’ve been waiting all year, and now December is finally upon us. Time to book that table for a special preChristmas get-together, a night at the theatre, browse the fairs for unique gifts or simply curl up in your local cinema or on the sofa for a quiet night in with your favourite people. Here is just a selection of how to spend these silly weeks... 1 Forget what that pal of yours on Twitter or Instagram says – we’ve been looking forward to Little Women since the first trailer was released months ago (before then, even, when we learned of its extraordinary cast, including our own Saoirse Ronan alongside Meryl Streep, Emma Watson and Timothée Chalamet). The film hits Irish cinemas December 26 – is there a better way to spend Stephen’s Day? We think not.
