Art lovers gather for a special Sotheby’s preview in Dublin
More than 300 guests joined Sotheby’s, in association with Sarasin & Partners, for an exclusive champagne reception hosted by head of Sotheby’s Ireland Arabella Bishop and colleagues Henry House and Charlie Minter. The event offered a special preview of two outstanding auctions: the annual Irish Art sale and 44 Fitzwilliam Square in Dublin – works from the estate of the late Patrick Kelly at the RHA. Among the stunning pieces on view were works from the 19th century through to the present day, including ones by Jack B Yeats, John Lavery, Paul Henry, Louis le Brocquy, and Rowan Gillespie. Everyone was in awe by the collection on view.
