Ireland’s Blue Book announces two new properties at a gathering in Ballymaloe
Food and hospitality insiders, including Darina Allen, Paul Flynn, and incoming chairperson of Ireland’s Blue Book for 2020 Laura Bowe gathered in Ballymaloe House for the announcement of two new members to the Blue Book. Glin Castle in Co Limerick, owned by Catherine FitzGerald and actor Dominic West, and The Wilder Townhouse, owned by Frankie and Josephine Whelehan, bring to 56 the total number of members of the collection of country house hotels,
manor houses, castles and restaurants. Guests were treated to delicious canapés including Ballymaloe cheese croquettes and
beetroot hummus on seed crackers.
