The Brown Thomas SS20 international designers fashion show at the Douglas Hyde Gallery

Brown Thomas fashion director Shelly Corkery welcomed stylists, influencers and press to preview the store’s spring/ summer looks in Trinity College’s Douglas Hyde Gallery. Guests gathered in the moodily-lit space, complete with purple sand dunes that formed the backdrop for the show.

A notably romantic theme was evident throughout, from tropical influences to floaty fabrics, and nostalgic nods to the 1970s and ’80s. Having viewed 90 looks showcased

from brands including Bottega Veneta, Christian Dior, Dries Van Noten, Victoria Beckham and new labels Khaite, Mugler and Nanushka, guests departed with no shortage

of inspiration for the season ahead.
