TWIST ON TRADITION

For her SS21 collection, London-based Irish designer Katie Ann McGuigan took inspiration from her family’s history of design. Growing up, she helped in the workshop of her parents’ furniture brand, Orior (her brother Ciaran is now creative director) and was immersed in the myriad fabrics and prints they used. She shows her mastery of materials with printed silk being used to create both light-as-air dresses and slouchy suits, while her oversized knit is perfect for in-between spring days.
