Although he says that he only started as a photographer to get into gigs for free, Yorkshire-born photographer Josh Shinner has captured plenty of famous faces during his career, including Alexa Chung, Emma Corrin, Jodie Comer, Florence Pugh and Vanessa Kirby. Imelda May joins this illustrious list on page 72, his first commission for an Irish magazine. Collaborating with stylist Dee Moran, he captured Imelda out and about on the streets of London, a perfect set-up for his energetic personality – and hers. “An Irish sense of humour and storytelling is always welcome on any set of mine.”
