Classic Irish play Drama at Inish is returning to the Abbey Theatre.

The story follows the inhabitants of a small seaside town in Ireland. Inish has never been on the map but it has been making headlines lately, and for all the wrong reasons. Could the newly arrived De la Mare Repertory Theatre Company really be the cause of the town’s strange behaviour?

Drama at Inish first premiered at the Abbey Theatre in 1933, and the new production takes Lennox Robinson’s brilliant farce into 1960s Ireland and features some of Ireland’s best loved actors including Nick Dunning, Breffni Holahan, Marcus Lamb and Aoibhinn McGinnity.

From 21 November 2019 - 25 January 2020. For more information and tickets visit abbeytheatre.ie
