AMBER SPRINGS Hotel

For a family-friendly break, the Amber Springs Hotel in Ireland’s sunny south east is the place to go

-

Dine in

Whichever restaurant takes your fancy! We loved Farina Garden Restaurant as a relaxed option for the kids, but for a special adult-only meal Kelbys Restaurant offers fine dining in a luxe setting. There’s also a steak house and coffee dock on-site as well as bar food available daily. While the town of Gorey is nearby, there’s no need to leave the hotel when it comes to wining and dining.

Explore

The family-friendly activities and wing (yes wing!) on offer at the hotel. The Amber Family Den Suites are perfect for families with teenagers looking for more space, or those on a longer stay. We were travelling with a 13 and 15-year-old, and even they were impressed by the separate area with bunk beds. Which is saying something!

For smaller children, the dens come with blackout blinds in the kid’s area, meaning the parents can relax while the children sleep. From the on-site Showtime Cinema to the indoor arts and crafts area to the outdoor activities, including go-karting, crazy golf, a petting farm, football pitch, pirate ship and its very own train the Amber Express, this hotel is a haven for families of all ages.

Sip on

A quiet drink at the Terrace Bar, which becomes an adult only area after 7pm each evening. Decorated with leather and wood, the feeling is one of a high-end members-only club. Views of the Amber Garden only add to the peace and quiet.

Spend

Time together as a family. Amber Springs is a family-friendly hotel first and foremost, and ensuring even the youngest members of your party are spoiled!

Relax

At Cocoon Spa while the children are entertained in the swimming pool nearby at Club Amber. The spa offers both Yon-Ka and Elemis facials and has an an array of pregnancy-friendly treatments carried out by absolute professionals.
