Look who’s under TOM’S THUMB

He may be dubbed the ‘sex thimble’, but what actor TOM HOLLANDER lacks in stature he more than makes up for in social status, as Hannah Flint discovers

When Cara Delevingne was given an entire island for a free holiday with 160 friends in the Maldives last December, it didn’t take her long to assemble an A-list guest list.

Predictable faces included Cara’s sister and fellow model Poppy, their older sibling Chloe and Chanel model Arizona Muse. Somewhat less expected to be posing for Instagram shots with Ray Winstone’s daughter Jaime and the portrait artist Jonathan Yeo was the diminutive actor Tom Hollander, 49.

Yet The Night Manager star’s invitation to the #MaldivesBeachParty shouldn’t have come as a surprise: his elite squad of friends already boasts Richard Curtis, his wife Emma Freud, Kate Winslet, Kevin Spacey, Daphne Guinness and Ian McKellen.

The draw? An apparently boundless charm matched in equal measure by his much-lauded talent. Meet the VIPs who have fallen for the acting world’s most popular man…
