Ah, the Christmas party season – inevitably with make-up that involves the G-word: glitter. And there’s plenty of it about, from eyeshadows and mascaras to nail varnish. But glitter on your eyes has a tendency to fall on to your face, so it’s wise to try to apply it like a pro: do your eyes before your base, put some powder on your cheeks so you can easily brush any excess away and hold a tissue under your eye to catch glitter that spills.
